MetaDeSci and rNFT

ABSTRACT
We introduce MetaDesci, a platform that brings together researchers, data donors and investors. MetDesci’s goal is to broaden participation in, and access to, research by simplifying the processes involved in both obtaining funds for the research and actually doing the research effectively. MetaDesci's ultimate value is to create a system where users can fully control and profit from their contributions. Cooperating with leading universities MetaDesci brings research, experimentation and science technologies into the virtual world by using an rNFT that represents the intellectual property (IP) of scientific research in a Web 3.0 manner.
Intellectual property is a category of property that consists of intangible human intellectual creations. There are numerous forms of intellectual property. Patents, pre-patent intellectual items, data sets, and contracts for research project management and outcomes are the most well-known categories of intellectual property. The law grants individuals and companies property rights to the information and creative goods they create, typically for a limited time. This provides an economic incentive for their creation, as it enables individuals to profit from the information and intellectual goods they produce and to safeguard and prevent piracy of their ideas. Depending on inventor protection, these economic incentives may drive innovation and technical advancement of nations.
Providing the platform for implementing experiments and fundraising with the capabilities of blockchain, we are offering a new tool and form of IP in the Web3 era – we call research NFT, or rNFT. Its goal is to create and empower a Web3 marketplace that will make IP-based research and development decentralized and more accessible to everyone. When any research project on MetaDeSci takes place, qualified investors and donors get rNFT in their wallets. rNFT can prove that its owner participated in an experiment and deserves a reward. rNFT links experimental data and patent applications to it. rNFT's programmability makes IP more discoverable and helpful for academic data. Programmability also makes legal contracts more modular. Using rNFT, we are able to overcome the two most pressing issues for science: global and efficient access to funding and rapid access to data donors. Also, apart from these two main problem rNFT also aims to solve some social problems.
Each MetaDesci experiment distributes rNFTs. Upon qualification, investors get rNFTs in their wallets. rNFT also can prove its owner participated in an experiment and deserves a reward. Participants' wallets get rNFTs with revenue percentages. rNFT links experimental data and patent applications to it. Investors can now own multiple IPs without investing too much in just one. This boosts market liquidity since trading high-value items is difficult.
rContract, which is an abbreviation for research Smart Contract, governs the interactions that exist between all of the many participants that make up the MetaDesci Ecosystem.
