Roles in System

MetaDesci Platform has several participants:

Donors

Donors can be part of an experiment and get a fraction of rNFT, they donate data that is very valuable for the experiment, and in return they can earn by selling the rNFT afterward at a crypto exchange.

Investors

By crypto investing into projects proposed by scientists and universities, the investors get a fraction of the rNFT they deserve. The affordability of the rNFTs makes it easy for a single investor to own parts of IP for multiple projects and this makes rNFTs very attractive.

Scientists and Universities

Universities and Scientists initiate the system by proposing an experiment, the rNFT for the experiment is minted and fractionalized. They themselves get to hold fractions of the rNFT and get rewards.

Each experiment is unique so fractions are pre-defined individually before the money collection starts. The MetaDesci platform serves to link all of the aforementioned participants and ensures that the ecosystem continues to function effectively.
